Here are some older links and information about Nontraditional Student support in this state. There may still be some clues here to help you find help and support at your school. Please pardon any links that no longer work. They will soon be deleted or fixed this year (2015).

Florida Atlantic University has a Nontraditional Student group called ANTS. It is the Alliance of Nontraditional Students. You can see their webpage here. Here is a description of the group (from the web page): "The objectives of the Alliance of Non-Traditional Students is to:
Provide support, both academic and social, to enhance opportunities, and to keep our    members informed of all matters relevant to college success. We will be meeting weekly to do study groups, socialize, and exchange experiences. in addition, we will be hosting events throughout the semester. Some events will be in collaboration with other clubs on campus, and some will be for members and their relatives only."

There do not seem to be any events on the calendar, but there are contact numbers if you are a nontraditional student there to look into.

The University of South Florida has a Survival 101 page for nontraditional students. It includes the Top 10 Ways to tell if you are a Nontraditional Student. Funny!
