Here are some older links and information about Nontraditional Student support in this state. There may still be some clues here to help you find help and support at your school. Please pardon any links that no longer work. They will soon be deleted or fixed this year (2015).

Indiana University Northwest has an orientation that includes nontraditional students. (2008)

From the website:

Incoming freshman or returning nontraditional students at IUN may attend a summer orientation session beginning at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 14 in the Savannah Center. Here, students may register for classes, receive academic advising, acquire information about student services and campus groups, and network with fellow students. There also will be several formal presentations. For more information, contact the Office of Admissions at (219) 980-6991.

They also will be offering a computer class for seniors.

From the Indiana University Newsroom: IU Study: Non-traditional students can expect notable wage increase if they continue their studies.

The Indiana Pathways to College site has a video series called Video Series: Non-traditional Students Share Struggles that looks interesting.

Scholarships in Indiana for Nontraditional Students

The University of Evansville has this Scholarships and Financial aid page.

Ivy Tech Community College has a Scholarship List here.

The Northern Indiana Community Foundation lists scholarships on this page that include scholarships for nontraditional students.

UIPUI (Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis) has a webpage here - Returning and Nontraditional Scholarships - for nontraditional students scholarships.

Fort Wayne also has another scholarship page here called IPFW: Center for Women and Returning Adults - Financial Matters, Scholarships.
