Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky has a group called Older Wiser Learners (OWLS). They also have a Nontraditional Student Council, which is a branch of the SGA there. Eastern has a new website for OWLS here. The page is maintained by students. The page features helpful links, photos, and more.

My thanks go out to Amanda King, current President of the OWLS group, who helped to update this information. Thank you so much!

A WKU group for nontraditional students is currently inactive (2007-2008). They once had a chapter at the Main Campus, and one at the South Campus as well. There was an older webpage about nontraditional students too that I liked. I could not find the old website there when I checked this year (2011).

BUT they do have a new WKU REAL page describing how they are helping nontraditional students now. They also have a dedicated advisor for them. Check it out here.

If you are a WKU student, and are interested, you can start a new group (such as a Nontraditional Student group) anytime. Contact the Student Activities office for more information. at 270-745-2459.
