The
Turning Points Group of Allegany College of Maryland
is the Non-Traditional Student Group of the Month here
on the Non-Ttraditional Students website for January, 2008.
According
to Administrative Assistant Nancy McCormack, the Turning Points
Group (their Non-traditional student group) obtained a house
for non-traditional students from the college on July 13, 2007.
The goal for the house was to provide a place for non -traditional
students to socialize and study. The house is located at the
community college. It includes both offices and labs for students.According
to Ms. McCormack, "There is always coffee and tea available
and usually some sort of snack."
This house
sounds both practical and fun. What a great idea! I know that
if I lived in Maryland, I would want to go and check it out.
