Look here for North Carolina links and sites from different schools this year. Here are some older links and information about Nontraditional Student support. There may still be some clues here to help you find help and support at your school. Please pardon any links that no longer work. They will soon be deleted or fixed this year (2015).

10-09 Featured NTSO group!

A T and T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina, has an NTSO group which has its own information page. It is located here: http://www.ncat.edu/~evenings/ntso.htm.

Here is some information about the benefits of joining the NTSO at A T and T State University:

"The benefits of membership in NTSO include, but are not limited to:
• receiving support from other non-trads for academic and social interaction
• gaining valuable leadership skills and experience
• helping to shape the organization's directions, initiatives, and services
• having your voice heard by the university community
• giving back to the community through service activities
• extending a hand to new non-trads who can benefit from your experiences"

A Constitution and Bylaws are also posted, with contact information too.

This is a great page and I am sure it has helped nontraditional students find support and help for their educational journeys. Another web page I liked here was the Tips for Success Page. This is a great resource, too.

We are currently compiling a list for students so that everyone will be able to join a Non-traditional student group when they go back to school.

Do you have a group from North Carolina that is not listed here? Fill out an easy and free form for a FREE listing on this page for your Non-traditional student group. This group may be part of a GED program, a Trade School Program, a College Program, or a University Program.

You may also send resources or help links for nontraditional students, which will be put on the page as space permits.
