MAKING AND UPGRADING YOUR NON-TRADITIONAL GROUP WEBSITEThere are many great sites out there to help you make a website for your non-traditional student group. Some of the best are listed below. Most are free for basic services, and charge only for upgraded membership. Need help making a website? These sites can really help. The Bravenet Site: check here for great webmaster tools. The signup form, some counters, and other tools on this site are from Bravenet. Tucows - freeware of all kinds - webrings, web news, graphics, html handouts, sitemappers, more. Devshed - free opensource advanced webmaster web goodies GoDaddy - expert, low-cost web hoster. Free domain name checker on main page. The Blogger Site: set up a blog for your group here for free. Sitemeter: get a free counter here. For Teachers and education students - get lesson plans and links here Photobucket - store your photos here for free - my photos that used to be there are not OFF the site. So I would not recommend it. Flickr - ditto, plus share your photos and photostream. Another company now owns this. Windy's Site - great tools and scripts. Hope this is still there!
